How to read JAV codes

Prefixes, numbers, and why SSIS-001 is a catalog key — not a file name.

A typical code looks like SSIS-001 or IPX-825.

- Prefix: the label or series (IdeaPocket uses IPX, S1 uses SSIS, Premium uses PRED). - Number: the release sequence inside that prefix. Lower is older, not worse. - Maker: the studio on the box. Two titles can share a mood and not share a maker.
